Dylan has been so enthusiastic about the potty lately. Occasionally I'll ask if he wants to sit on the potty (always a yes) But, most of the time, he's ASKING to sit on the potty. We go in and read for a little while - he squeezes as hard as he can, hoping to hear the potty sing to him. If nothing happens, that's fine too - he gets up - we cheer and clap and he flushes the potty. He is even asking and wanting to use the potty at Nana & Grandma's house too. Who knows how long this phase will last, but I'm excited about it!! He always feels so proud, he smiles as big as he can when he gets to flush the potty. Never in my life would I have dreamed that I would be so excited about peeing on the toilet.
