Our daycare provider, Jenn, continues to be amazed by Dylan every day.
Her first real surprise was Dylan's "VROOOOOOM" as he drove one of the toy trucks - she had no idea he knew how to make that noise, or to apply it to the correct toy.
The next surprise was just yesterday - Dylan is extremely fond of her two daughters, Vivian & Julia. Vivian, 3, is not as fond of Dylan lately as he continues to try and chew her toys and touch her (she just hates it) But, she is the first one to speak up if Dylan is crying and she thinks someone might be neglecting him! Julia & Dylan have a special bond. Yesterday, Julia, 10, left the playroom and went to her own room and shut the door. Dylan apparently crawled as fast as he could to try and catch her, but was too late. He screamed outside of her door - banging on the door and yelling "YA YA"... which we are assuming is the code name for Julia. He continues to point at Julia and say YaYa, so I'm pretty sure that's who it is.
& the latest... Today, Jenn swears Dylan picked up a toy phone, put it to his ear, and said "hello?" I'm quite sure he did, talking on the phone really makes him crack up lately - and he's getting pretty good at responding to the person on the other end.
